Challenge
Taylor Wimpey were looking for an off grid solution to light their private areas on their Wolsey Grange Ipswich development.
Solution
Solar Vision proposed their ASTRAL Solar Street Light and designed a scheme with seven 6m columns. This solution has meant that no infrastructure was required and no landlords meter.
Outcome
Taylor Wimpey have called off the installation in phases, with the final installation due in mid-2024 delivering to their customers a free lighting scheme with no electricity charges.
CO₂ Savings
Over 25 years this project will have saved our atmosphere 8.05 tonnes of CO₂.
