Challenge

Bewley Homes are a forward-thinking developer and pride themselves in their pursuit of sustainability, with that in mind they wanted a solar street lighting solution that would perform to the high standards they demand. They approached SolarVision Lighting Technologies (SVLT) and were impressed by the innovative design of our unique Solar Wrap®.

Solution

After a very successful trial with the SolarVision ASTRAL column, Bewley asked SVLT to provide a scheme for their development. The total number of columns for the scheme will be 35 and these were installed in phases in line with their build and customer occupations.

Outcome

SVLT have now completed installing the street lights which now provide free lighting for the next >25 years. Bewley have since asked Solar Vision to provide the ASTRAL lights across the rest of their new developments and we look forward to installing these intelligent street lights for new residents.
